Voice Changer Plus 2.2 has been released. It contains some bug fixes, and a new restore button that allows you to recover your upgrade purchase if you need to. It has been updated for iOS 5 and now uses the built in Twitter integration. It is still compatible with iOS 4.x for those who do not wish to upgrade the OS.

Voice Changer Plus gains a couple of new features: iTunes File Sharing, and the ability to layer voice effects.
iTunes file sharing lets you easily transfer recordings to and from your computer. All you do is plug your iPhone into your computer and start iTunes. Select your device and choose the Apps tab. Under the File Sharing section select VoicePlus. You will see all your recordings listed under VoicePlus Documents. From there you can drag recordings in and out. Fast, and easy!
Also in 2.1, now you can modify existing recordings. Say you have recorded your best Mouse voice, but now you want to add echo. Select the recording you want from the recordings list and then press the new Change button. You can select any effect and apply it over the existing recording. Save it and repeat as you like! The possibilities are endless.
These new features apply to the upgrade only, but the free version still benefits from some performance improvement.

Voice Changer Plus and iOS 4

Voice Changer Plus version 1.7 has been updated for iOS 4. Twitter login now uses the Oauth protocol for better security. The free version is now advertising supported. The ads are removed when you purchase the upgrade. Unfortunately, when running under iOS 4, the app will partially freeze when using the following voices from the upgrade: Scuba, Grammophone, Garth Bader, Helicopter, Rain, Jungle, Crowd, Station, Traffic, and Alien 2. A fix for this has been submitted to Apple and is waiting for review.

VCP 1.6: Now with Twitter and Facebook

I’m excited to announce that Voice Changer Plus 1.6 went live in the app store last night. Now you can share your voice recordings directly to your Twitter and Facebook accounts! If you already upgraded, you get this new feature for free. If you haven’t upgraded, now is a great time to find out what you’re missing!
